This page describes the parameters used in the Unified Agent's configuration.

NOTES:

  • When a parameter is commented out, its value is set to the default (as given in the table below).

  • include and exclude parameters relate ONLY to the scan phase.

Configuration File Parameters

Which files to include/exclude in the scan (file extensions, file names. folder names, etc.). These parameters can receive a list of arguments delimited by a comma, semicolon, or space.

NOTES:

  • The include and exclude parameters relate ONLY to the scan phase.These parameters affect only the 'Scan Files Matching Includes Pattern' step and have no effect on the dependency resolution includes parameter is relevant only for the file system scan, controlled by the fileSystemScan parameter.
    The excludes parameter, is relevant for the file system scan and the package manager resolutions. If a directory is specified to be excluded, no manifest files located in the directory will be picked up by the different resolvers.

  • The includes parameter has a default value (comprising all the WhiteSource supported extensions) that will be applied to all the Unified Agent's configuration methods (environment variables, config file, etc.).

  • The excludes parameter has a default value of:
    **/.*, **/node_modules, **/src/test, **/testdata, **/*sources.jar, **/*javadoc.jar
